Engine warranty terms: Coverage includes all internally lubricated parts inside the rotating assembly (short block and cylinder heads).

Prior to installation It is recommended that the engine is rotated clockwise 2 revolutions. Do not rotate the engine backwards. Another recommendation is that gaskets and seals are replaced prior to installation, gasket and seal leaks are not covered by the warranty. 

Many late model vehicles will require programming, relearns or compensation done after installation for things such as fuel injectors, cam and crank and other components. Please consult your factory shop manuals for proper installation procedures to ensure this can be done.

You must follow the OE recommended maintenance schedule, OE fluid and filter types. Maintenance records will be required in the event of product failure. 

 Excluded from the warranty are external components to the rotating assembly such as Fuel, Ignition systems, Electrical harness and components, Sensors, Tinware, Accessories, Gaskets and Seals. 

Heat tabs are installed on the engine. In the event of the heat tab is melted or removed, the engine warranty is void. 

Transmission warranty terms: Coverage includes internally lubricated mechanical components. Prior to installation, on transmissions that have a serviceable filter you must install a new filter. Another recommendation is that gaskets and seals are replaced prior to installation, gasket and seal leaks are not covered by the warranty. 

Note: All units require OE recommended fluids in the event of failure proof of fluid type will be required.

The transmission cooler must be hot flushed, cooler flow must be checked and replaced, as necessary. Cooler flow should be one quart in 15 seconds.

All transmissions will require programming and / or relearning. In the event of failure proof of programming will be required. Failure to program or relearn will damage the transmission. If programming cannot be done on location, the vehicle must be towed to the dealer for programming. Any aftermarket modifications or towing excess of the manufacturer’s weight specifications will cause damage and void the warranty.

Axle and carrier terms: Coverage includes only the internal components. Seals and gaskets are not covered. Aftermarket modifications, installation of lift kits or towing in excess of the manufacturer’s weight specifications will void the warranty.

Note: All units require OE recommended fluids.

Transfer cases and PTU terms; Coverage includes only the internal components. Seals and gaskets are not covered. All tires on the vehicle must be of the same, brand, tread depth, and circumference at the time is installation and or failure. Mis matched tires or varied sizes and tread depth will cause failure. Note: All units require OE recommended fluids.

DIY installers; you must have the tools and applicable shop manuals to do a proper installation. In the case that the vehicle needs to go to a repair facility for diagnosis, you will be responsible for the cost incurred for the diagnosis.

Any type of aftermarket modifications or performance enhancements to the vehicle, voids the warranty. Which includes aspiration type, fuel, ignition, aftermarket programming, suspension, intake, or exhaust systems. 

Consequential damages or losses are not covered by the warranty. There is no coverage for any charges for towing, loss of time, wages, loss of use of vehicle, rental vehicle, lodging, programming, filters, fluids, roadside assistance, attorney fees, court costs or any related expenses.

There are no other warranties, either express or implied, which extend beyond description herein. All implied warranties, including the implied fitness warranty for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed and excluded. The warranty is not transferable.

The warranty shall be void if the parts purchased have been dismantled, modified or otherwise tampered with, in our sole discretion.   The venue for the cause of action arising from this warranty shall be in Monroe County, Rochester NY.

Labor Warranty

Labor coverage can be purchased at the time of product purchase only. 

Labor is sold in blocks of 250.00 per with a max of $1250.00 of coverage.

If labor coverage is not purchased at the point of sale with the product any labor assistance is forfeited 

Work or repairs performed without prior authorization from Northside Salvage Yard are not covered by and may void your warranty
